Specialized Rail Maintenance Equipment Move from Switzerland to the U.S

TEFCO Transportation recently provided assistance on more than 10 large pieces of specialized rail equipment from the Port of Baltimore. Utilizing state of the art equipment, we were able to provide a solution for moving these large cargo’s to final destination.

Pieces of this machine range from 35,000 Lbs to 190,000 Lbs. with length up to 90′ long and heights up to 17’6″.

TEFCO’s team worked for 6 months to establish routing, planning and final movement. Many different departments were involved to make this move possible. Local and state police, engineers, MDOT permitting, Utilities and more.
